"A Chance Meeting" (Drawing)

"A Chance Meeting" (Drawing)
11" x 14"
Graphite on Paper

Here is a new piece I did recently in graphite. This pencil drawing will be painted bigger in oils, when that piece is done, I will post it here as well.

Have a good week, everyone!

I was wondering why did you connect those specific stars, maybe existing small constellations?

I was wondering the fish might be floating over the pond, but I went further and maybe it's just the kid just entered the pond world from the surface, and now is just watching the reflection of world as creatures see it from inside the water...

I'm dying to see this piece in oils already :D

This is gorgeous! Excited to see the oils version but loving the mood in this graphite version.

Thank you everyone.

@Jean: Lol a goldfish?
@Pat: if you try to make out the constellations, it might spell something. I made it in a way where its not too obvious or easy to spell it out, its a hidden little code. ;)

I really like your interpretation.. you quite got it.

@Joyce: Thanks Joyce!

@Jean: I meant, does goldfish remind you of childhood? Mine was Turtle.
