Oils back in Effect

Been working with some traditional Oils Painting again the last few days between projects. I have a lot of pieces scheduled in the next months. Will be updating on the progression throughout. Here's one for now, before going into the 'color' stage.

Very nice work Peter! Was this painted on a wood panel?
Cheers!

Thank you everyone for the kind words!

@Pat - makes you wonder, doesnt it? ;)
@Jean - Thanks, Good question - I actually listened to some sound tracks of 'Mono'
@Dalibor - Thank you, yup this was painted on a wood board. I normally buy big sheets of wood boards and cut them up at the store. Then sand them and prepare them for painting.
